My Valentine’s Day & WLWW Link-Up Party!

He did it! He remembered!!! lol!!  I mentioned in a post last week that our marriage is not always filled with “soap opera” type romance – but I must give my husband a huge kudos because he came how with this:

Good things come in small packages…he got me a really pretty bracelet!  This is not the norm and I hesitated to share it because I know that many women may not have gotten a Valentine’s Day gift – but on the other hand – I have to praise my husband!  He blessed me and I’m so very grateful for his unconditional love!  I love you honey – Muah!

The weekend before Valentine’s Day my parents watched the kids while we attended a Valentine Dinner at our church.  We sat with Kory and Clare (from Peak313.com).  Back in the old days, (that’s pre-blogging days) our husbands co-led Bible study in our home on Sunday nights for 3 years!

Clare and I got a chance to make a few youtubes with Dr. David Clarke that we will share when I get back from my trip to the Mom Heart Conference!  Until then – if you want to see a few more pics from our Valentine Dinner visit Clare over at Peak313.com and check out some of her work out plans and moves while you’re there – this girl’s got the moves! 😉

  1. It’s just fine to praise your husband for such a sweet gesture 🙂 I look forward to seeing the videos. I am all about encouraging others in focusing on their marriages!

  2. Our husbands are cut from the same mold. Mine usually doesn’t do holidays, but he surprised me this year with a card tucked into the steering wheel of the car and later roses put on the window while I was at PT. Hah! And I had finally come to terms with 364 days of love is better than 1 day of holiday romance and gift giving. God wanted me heart right and then poured out the double blessing!

What a nice way to spend Valentine’s Day — with friends!

    Blessings,
    Lisa

  3. I’ve seen so many women blessed by their hubby’s this Valentine’s Day. That is so wonderful. I have turtle doves… One died about two weeks ago. I was so concerned with the remaining lonely male. I went to visit my mother for the weekend and upon my return my husband had bought a beautiful female dove – cleaned the cage, etc… It is so cute watching the pair get to know each other. Have a wonderful day!
