Summer Boredom Busters for Kids
I’m over at The Better Mom today sharing some of my Boredom Buster Ideas for Summer!
Here’s just a few of the things we love to do:
The slip and slide!
Nerf Gun Wars
The Library and reading outside! This is my favorite!
Let’s have a GREAT summer with our kids! Remember how quickly it goes -let’s savor the moments and enjoy our children!
Come visit me over at the Better Mom to learn about the Boredom Buster Jar and I’d love for you to share your ideas too!!!
Most of the time when a person is bored it’s because they’re too lazy to come up with an idea of something to do. So when someone announces that they are bored then it’s their job to come up with a good idea of how to pass the time. When parents constantly feel like they need to come up with entertaining ideas to keep their children from being bored they do themselves and their children a great disservice. With this I’m not saying that a parent should never spend time doing fun things with and for the children, but I do believe that children need to learn responsibility in this area as well.
I just wondered where you got the doodle pads? I think my kids would love those and they would be a great way to pass the time while traveling.
I don’t know where Courtney got hers, but I found them at Costco last year. 🙂
We got our at Sam’s Club but here’s a link to one on Amazon if you don’t have a Sam’s or Costco nearby 🙂 http://www.amazon.com/The-Boys-Doodle-Book-Pictures/dp/0762435062
Great ideas for summer activities! Thanks for this post!
Fun post with ideas that made me smile 🙂
Love summer!
This looks fun! I have recently become part of a challenge to spend 30 minutes for every day in June (30days) playing with your child. These will work great!
