GMG Schedule Change & A Life Update

Hi GMG’s! I want to give you an update about our fall Bible Study.

Usually we begin our fall study right after Labor Day but this year I’m in need of an extended summer break. I’m so sorry that I am not able to start one in September. 🙁

Here’s some of the reasons why and a little life update for you:

My son Alex, graduated from high school last spring! Hooray! And he is headed to the Liberty University in Virginia. So in two weeks, I’ll be moving him a few states away. I’m SO excited for him and am savoring my last days with him at home. They are bittersweet.

Also, there’s this wonderful man in my life – Keith. This weekend it will be one year since our first date. What an amazing year it has been! We are engaged and I’m planning a wedding but it won’t be until the summer of 2023 because I want to enjoy my final year with Alexis at home before she heads off to Liberty University with her brother next fall.

Soooooo, Keith and I are building a new home for the next chapter of life!

There are a few other things going on as well, that are making life feel very very full and so I am in need of an extended summer break.

Mark Your Calendars!

The 13th Annual Making Your Home a Haven Bible Study
will begin on October 1st.

I am writing something ALL NEW for this study and all the details will be available here on the blog, around the start of September.

While I’m on break, I will be blogging over at CourtneysNotes.com. Courtney’s Notes was created because sometimes the Lord lays on my heart topics that do not flow with the Bible Studies I am leading here. So rather than just storing it all in my journals, I thought I’d create a space to share it with you –and let God use it however he wills.

Don’t expect too much over there – it’s going to be random, unfiltered, informal, sometimes light hearted and sometimes deep and heavy as I share more personal things.  I may be there frequently one month and gone for a bit the next, based on how much time I have.  It will ebb and flow with my life. But most of all, I hope that it will take us all in deeper in our walk with the Lord as we wrestle with the hard things of life.

So, I’ll see you back here in September when I announce the details for the Making Your Home a Haven Study and until then, you can find me over at CourtneysNotes.com

Love you all so much! Keep walking with the King,

Courtney

Ps. If you are looking for a study to do on break – visit my Bible Study page to find all of the previous books we have completed – everything is there for you to do at your own pace.
